Stars place Lehtonen on injured reserve
Kari Lehtonen of the Dallas Stars has been placed on injured reserve due to a lower-body injury

The Dallas Stars on Monday placed goaltender Kari Lehtonen on injured reserve, retroactive to Oct. 11.

Lehtonen sustained a lower-body injury in that night's game against the Winnipeg Jets and was replaced by Dan Ellis at 14:30 of the second period.

The Stars also activated defenseman Aaron Rome from injured reserve and assigned him to the Texas Stars of the American Hockey League on a conditioning assignment. In addition, forward Chris Mueller was assigned to Texas.
