The Phoenix Coyotes could be without defensemen Derek Morris and Oliver Ekman-Larsson on Tuesday when the team plays the New York Islanders.

According to the Arizona Republic, neither player was on the ice for the team's practice Monday prior to its departure for Long Island. The team announced Monday that both players are day-to-day with upper-body injuries.

Morris has one assist and is a plus-1 in two games; Ekman-Larsson has a goal and an assist in two games.

Quote of the Day

We think that Randy is a very good coach. Our players think that Randy is a very good coach. We think that he's going to get the most out of this group. With the addition of the two assistants, a bit of a different dynamic, we're very comfortable that this is a quality coaching staff that's going to maximize the potential of this team.
