Atkinson fait la différence en fusillade et les Jackets l'emportent 3-2

UNIONDALE, États-Unis - Cam Atkinson a marqué au quatrième tour de la fusillade et les Blue Jackets ont prévalu 3-2 lors du premier match local des Islanders cette saison, samedi.

Les deux clubs se trouvaient dans l'impasse après trois tours en fusillade, suite aux buts de Mark Letestu de Columbus et Matt Moulson des New-Yorkais.

Moulson et Lubomir Visnovsky ont donné l'avance 2-0 aux Islanders en deuxième période, mais Letestu et Ryan Johansen ont répliqué au troisième vingt.

Le gardien vainqueur Sergei Bobrovsky a stoppé 28 tirs, un de plus qu'Evgeni Nabokov.
