ST. PAUL, Minn. -- Minnesota Wild forward Charlie Coyle left Saturday's game against the Anaheim Ducks with a lower-body injury. He has been ruled out for the remainder of the game.

Coyle appeared to injure himself in a collision with Ducks forward Andrew Cogliano midway through the second period.

The second-year forward centers the Wild's second line and second power-play units. He had eight goals and 14 points in 37 games as a rookie last season, but is scoreless through four-plus periods so far this season.

I've been getting frustrated lately, and the only thing keeping me sane was the team winning and other people stepping up and scoring. Then you just kind of let it go and realize you can end the series with one shot, that frustration goes away for a brief moment, and that's what happened.
