The San Jose Sharks announced Thursday the team has renewed its affiliation agreement with the San Francisco Bulls of the ECHL for the 2013-14 season. The Worcester Sharks serve as San Jose's American Hockey League affiliate.
"We had an extremely positive relationship with the Bulls last season as a development vehicle for players within our system and we look forward to continuing that agreement," Sharks general manager Doug Wilson said.
The San Jose and Worcester organizations placed seven players in San Francisco last season.
The Bulls will continue to play their home games at the Cow Palace, where the Sharks played their first two NHL seasons prior to moving into SAP Center in San Jose.
It's an incredible feeling just to see it go in and see the Joe go pretty crazy. Ever since the introduction there, I was kind of feeling the nerves, and to put that one home, I started to feel comfortable and I thought my play started to pick up.
