Rangers add Lacroix to coaching staff
The New York Rangers on Wednesday announced Daniel Lacroix has joined the team as an assistant to new coach Alain Vigneault.

The New York Rangers on Wednesday announced Daniel Lacroix has joined the team as an assistant to new coach Alain Vigneault.

Lacroix joins associate coach Scott Arniel and assistant coach Ulf Samuelsson, who were hired July 3. Lacroix had been an assistant coach with the Tampa Bay Lightning since the 2010-11 season.

Lacroix started his NHL career with the Rangers, who selected him in the second round (No. 31) of the 1987 NHL Draft. He played three seasons for the team, totaling two goals and two assists in 30 games.
