Donnay, 19, was undrafted after three seasons in the Ontario Hockey League, with the London Knights and Erie Otters. The 6-foot-7, 190-pound player had one goal and seven assists in 68 games with Erie last season and served as an alternate captain.
In three OHL seasons, Donnay, a native of Fenton, Mich., had two goals and 15 assists in 143 games.
