Predators sign Rodney to one-year, two-way deal
The Nashville Predators on Monday announced the signing of defenseman Bryan Rodney to a one-year, two-way contract.

The Nashville Predators on Monday announced they have signed defenseman Bryan Rodney to a one-year, two-way contract.

Rodney's deal is worth $550,000 at the NHL level and $120,000 at the American Hockey League level.

Rodney, 29, spent the 2012-13 season with the Manchester Monarchs of the AHL, with four goals and 15 points in 44 games.

Since turning pro in 2005-06, the 6-4, 204-pound blueliner has one goal and 13 points in 34 NHL games with the Edmonton Oilers and Carolina Hurricanes.
