Blackhawks, Winchester agree on one-year deal
The Blackhawks announced Wednesday they have agreed to terms with forward Brad Winchester on a one-year contract. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The Chicago Blackhawks announced Wednesday they have agreed to terms with forward Brad Winchester on a one-year contract. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Winchester, 32, had 27 points (nine goals) in 37 games last season with the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League.

He has 68 points (37 goals) in 390 NHL games with the Edmonton Oilers, Dallas Stars, St. Louis Blues, Anaheim Ducks and San Jose Sharks.

Winchester played four seasons at the University of Wisconsin from 1999-2003. He was selected by Edmonton in the second round (No. 35) of the 2000 NHL Draft.
