Spaling, 24, from Drayton, Ontario, tied for fourth with nine goals in 47 games last season. The 58th selection overall in the second round of the 2007 draft, Spaling has played in 226 games with the Predators and has 52 points. Nashville is 20-4-1 when he scores a goal and 34-9-3 when he has a point.
