Kings, Lewis agree on one-year contract
The Los Angeles Kings avoided arbitration with center Trevor Lewis as the sides agreed Tuesday to a one-year, $1.325 million contract

The Los Angeles Kings avoided arbitration with center Trevor Lewis as the sides agreed Tuesday to a one-year contract. TSN's Darren Dreger is reporting it's worth $1.325 million.

The 26-year-old played in all 48 games for the Kings during the 2012-13 season, with five goals and 14 points. He had a goal and two assists in 18 Stanley Cup Playoff games.

A first-round pick by the Kings (No. 17) in the 2006 NHL Draft, Lewis has played in 203 games with the team over parts of five seasons, totaling 12 goals and 37 points. A member of the 2012 championship team, he has five goals and 16 points in 44 postseason games.
