The Florida Panthers on Monday announced the signing of defenseman Colby Robak to a two-year contract.

The Florida Panthers on Monday announced the signing of defenseman Colby Robak to a two-year contract.

The 23-year-old played in 16 games for the Panthers during the 2012-13 season, recording his first NHL point on March 5 with an assist in a 4-1 win over the Winnipeg Jets.

A second-round pick in the 2008 NHL Draft (No. 46), the 6-foot-3, 194-pound blueliner had five goals and 23 points in 63 games with the American Hockey League's San Antonio Rampage.
