Predators re-sign Spaling to one-year deal
The Nashville Predators have re-signed forward Nick Spaling to a one-year, $1.5 million contract

The Nashville Predators on Thursday announced they have re-signed forward Nick Spaling to a one-year, $1.5 million contract.

Spaling, 24, was scheduled for a salary-arbitration hearing Thursday.

A second-round pick (No. 58) in the 2007 NHL Draft, Spaling recently completed his fourth season in Nashville with nine goals and 13 points in 47 games.

Spaling has 27 goals and 52 points in 226 games with the Predators.
