NEWARK, N.J. - Mike Foligno has joined the New Jersey Devils as an assistant coach.

General manager Lou Lamoriello announced the appointment to Pete DeBoer's staff Friday. Foligno replaces Matt Shaw, who left to become head coach of Dubuque in the USHL.
