The (Bergen) Record reported Thursday that the New Jersey Devils have re-signed restricted free-agent center Jacob Josefson to a one-year, $725,000 contract.
Josefson, a 2009 first-round draft pick (No. 20), played 22 games with the Devils last season, totaling one goal, three points and 20 shots on goal. He has six goals and 22 points in 91 career games spanning three seasons in New Jersey.
In 38 games with the team's American Hockey League affiliate in Albany last season, the versatile 22-year-old had 10 goals, 25 points and a plus-11 rating.
