Blackhawks re-sign Beach to one-year deal
The Chicago Blackhawks on Wednesday announced the club has agreed to terms on a one-year contract with 23-year-old forward Kyle Beach.

The Chicago Blackhawks on Wednesday announced they have agreed to terms on a one-year contract with 23-year-old forward Kyle Beach. Financial details were not released.

Beach had 16 goals, 26 points and 204 penalty minutes in 66 games last season with the Rockford IceHogs, the Blackhawks' American Hockey League affiliate.

The 6-foot-3, 208-pound forward has spent the past three full seasons with Rockford after spending the previous five seasons in the Western Hockey League.

The Blackhawks selected Beach with the 11th pick of the 2008 NHL Draft.
