Blackhawks trade left-winger Dan Carcillo to Kings for conditional draft pick

LOS ANGELES, Calif. - The Los Angeles Kings have acquired Dan Carcillo from the Chicago Blackhawks in exchange for a draft pick.

The Blackhawks received a conditional pick in 2015.

Carcillo had two goals and an assist in 23 regular-season games for Chicago. The 28-year-old left-winger dressed for four playoff games during the Blackhawks' Stanley Cup run, picking up one assist.

In 333 NHL games, Carcillo has 40 goals, 47 assists and 1,079 penalty minutes.

In Los Angeles, Carcillo reunites with former Philadelphia Flyers teammates Mike Richards and Jeff Carter.

Quote of the Day

It's pretty crazy, but believe me when I say we didn't draft these players with the mindset we had to because they had good hockey-playing dads. It just turned out that way. But we're certainly glad they're a part of our organization.
