The Phoenix Coyotes on Sunday signed 2013 first-round pick Max Domi to a three-year, entry-level contract.
"We are very pleased to sign Max to an entry-level contract," Coyotes general manager Don Maloney said in a statement announcing the signing. "Max is a very talented young player with a bright future. He had an impressive prospect development camp and we look forward to watching his progress."
Domi, the 12th pick of the draft, had 39 goals, 87 points and a plus-33 rating in 64 games last season with the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League. He also finished second in scoring in the OHL playoffs with 32 points in 21 games to help London win a second-straight league title and advance to the Memorial Cup.
