RALEIGH, N.C. - The Carolina Hurricanes have agreed to terms with two players on one-year, two-way contracts.

The Hurricanes announced deals Thursday with right wing Aaron Palushaj and defenceman Michal Jordan.

Palushaj will make $600,000 on the NHL level or $175,000 in the minor leagues with a guarantee of at least $225,000.

Jordan will receive $550,000 with the Hurricanes or $125,000 in the minors with a guarantee of at least $150,000.

The 23-year-old Palushaj had two goals and seven assists in 25 games last season for Colorado.

Jordan made his NHL debut with Carolina last season and averaged 10:41 of ice time in five games.

For me, it's a great win for our hockey team and for a lot of people back in Columbus, especially our fans in particular … people who have been devoted to this organization, it's big.
