The Winnipeg Jets bolstered their offense Friday, acquiring forward Devin Setoguchi in a trade with the Minnesota Wild.

The Jets landed the speedy right wing in exchange for a second-round pick in the 2014 NHL Draft, the team announced.

Setoguchi, 26, finished fifth on the Wild in scoring in 2012-13 with 27 points (13 goals, 14 assists) in 48 games. Five of his 13 goals came on the power play.

He is a veteran of 384 games after beginning his career with the San Jose Sharks in 2007-08. He had a career-high 31 goals and 65 points in 2008-09.

For me, it's a great win for our hockey team and for a lot of people back in Columbus, especially our fans in particular … people who have been devoted to this organization, it's big.
