Senators re-sign goalie Lawson to two-way deal
The Ottawa Senators on Wednesday re-signed goalie Nathan Lawson to a one-year, two-way contract.

The Ottawa Senators on Wednesday re-signed goalie Nathan Lawson to a one-year, two-way contract.

Lawson, 29, spent the 2012-13 season with Ottawa's American Hockey League affiliate, the Binghamton Senators, posting a 12-6-2 record with a 2.19 goals-against average and .938 save percentage in 23 games.

Prior to joining Ottawa, the 6-foot-2, 203-pound goalie spent the previous three seasons with the New York Islanders, primarily with the team's AHL affiliate, the Bridgeport Sound Tigers. He made his NHL debut with the Islanders in 2010-11, going 1-4-2 in 10 games.
