Ottawa Senators willing to deal, open to moving up or down in NHL draft

NEW YORK, N.Y. - Picking 17th in the draft, the Ottawa Senators are willing to listen to offers about moving up or down.

But GM Bryan Murray says his phone hasn't been ringing.

Murray says he has put out feelers himself about moving either way. But nobody has got back to him so far

If the Sens remain at No. 17, Murray says he is confident they can still get a good player in the draft.

The draft is a one-day affair this year, set for Sunday at the Prudential Centre in Newark, New Jersey.

Quote of the Day

Your team is going to want to recapture the feeling. What they're going to have to figure out is they're going to have to rewrite the story. Because you're going to rewrite the story doesn't mean you want a different end. It's just that you're going to have to learn that there's different challenges to get there, and if you're going to try and tap the same feeling, it ain't going to happen.
