Devils sign Tedenby to new contract

The New Jersey Devils on Thursday announced the signing of forward Mattias Tedenby to a new contract. It's reportedly a one-year, $600,000 deal.

Tedenby played four games for the Devils during the 2012-13 season, recording one assist. He scored 10 goals with nine assists in 37 games for Albany of the American Hockey League.

A first-round pick by the Devils in the 2008 NHL Draft, the 23-year-old has career NHL totals of nine goals and 29 points in 105 games.
