Los Angeles Kings get C Jarret Stoll back for Game 1 of Western Conference finals at Chicago

CHICAGO - Jarret Stoll has returned to the Los Angeles Kings lineup on Saturday for the opener of the Western Conference finals against the Chicago Blackhawks.

The centre, one of the Kings' best players on faceoffs, has been sidelined with a suspected concussion since he was struck with an illegal hit to the head by San Jose's Raffi Torres in Game 1 of Los Angeles' second-round series against the Sharks.

Torres was suspended by the NHL for the remainder of the series.

Stoll has been skating with the team for several days. He had seven goals and 11 assists in 48 games in the regular season.

Quote of the Day

That was something I've been dreaming of, something I've told myself before the third period I was going to do ... It was an amazing feeling. It's hard to describe. I didn't believe it went in at first but when I saw all the reaction and all the fans going crazy and my teammates going crazy, it's just an unbelievable feeling. I didn't know what to do. I didn't know whether to jump or just skate and do a Theo Fleury. I don't think I'm the same caliber player he is so I couldn't do it.
