Flyers' Voracek uninjured in car accident
The Philadelphia Flyers announced Wednesday that forward Jakub Voracek was not injured in a car accident in the Czech Republic.

The Philadelphia Flyers announced Wednesday that forward Jakub Voracek was not injured in a car accident in the Czech Republic.

"I spoke with Jake this morning," Flyers general manager Paul Holmgren said in a statement released by the team. "He was involved in a car accident in the Czech Republic. Although his car did suffer damage, there were no injuries. Jake is fine."

Pictures of Voracek's car on Czech website Sport.cz show a blue Ferrari with significant front-end damage.

Voracek tied for eighth in the League with a career-best 22 goals in the regular season, and his 46 points were second on the team.
