Power of Couture: Entering the third period of Game 3 between the Sharks and Canucks, San Jose held a 2-1 lead. Logan Couture then scored two power-play goals in the final frame to give the Sharks the win and a commanding 3-0 series lead.
Tavares' Game 4 winner: With the Islanders and Penguins tied 4-4 midway through the third period of Game 4, John Tavares made a dazzling move and cashed in on his own rebound to beat Marc-Andre Fleury, helping New York even its series with Pittsburgh.
Brunner's OT heroics: With less than five minutes left in OT of Game 4 on Monday, Wings center Damien Brunner put the puck past the left pad of Ducks goalie Jonas Hiller to seal the win and tie up their playoff series with Anaheim.
