Montreal Canadiens goaltender Carey Price did not come out for overtime of Game 4 of his team's Eastern Conference Quarterfinal series against the Ottawa Senators on Tuesday night due to an apparent injury.

Price appeared to injure himself on the game-tying goal by Ottawa's Cory Conacher with 22.6 seconds remaining. Peter Budaj led the Canadiens onto the ice for overtime and allowed the winning goal by Kyle Turris 2:32 into overtime as the Senators rallied for a 3-2 victory and a 3-1 lead in the best-of-7 series.

Quote of the Day

The groove of being behind a bench is going to be interesting at first, but thank God we have a few exhibition games to get rid of those cobwebs. Overall the excitement of it all and the freshness and coming back refreshed, all those things are going to be assets. If [the players] come ready to give their best effort in practice and games, good things are going to happen. I'm always looking for results. It's not always on the scoreboard. It's winning and building something.

— Bryan Trottier on making his return to coaching as an assistant with the Sabres
