Mock drafts agree on top pick -- and that's it
NHL.com's latest mock drafts agree only on top overall pick. After that first pick, however, things go in a few different directions.

The 2013 NHL Draft is regarded as one of the deepest of recent memory, with talented players at every position.

How will teams sift through all that talent? We won't know until June 30, when all 30 teams convene at Prudential Center for the draft.

While the teams might not be sure how to approach their picks, the draft experts at NHL.com -- Adam Kimelman, Mike G. Morreale and Steven Hoffner -- have analyzed the prospects and all 30 teams and made their best guesses at which players could end up with which teams.

While the final draft order won't be known until the end of the Stanley Cup Final, the draft order for this exercise is based on the League standings as they looked on the morning of Wednesday, April 24.

Three teams have multiple first-round picks -- the Columbus Blue Jackets and Calgary Flames each have three picks in the top 30, while the Buffalo Sabres have two.

In addition, the New Jersey Devils retain the right to surrender their first-round selection as part of the penalty for signing Ilya Kovalchuk to an illegal contract in 2010; the Devils have to surrender their first-round pick in the 2013 or 2014 draft.

The latest edition of NHL.com's mock drafts remains the same at the top, as all three have defenseman Seth Jones of the Portland Winterhawks of the Western Hockey League being taken with the first pick.

After that first pick, however, the NHL.com trio goes in a few different directions. Are they the right directions? Check all three mock drafts and weigh in with your opinion.
