OWEN SOUND, Ont. - Matthew Mistele scored twice for the Plymouth Whalers who eliminated the Owen Sound Attack from the Ontario Hockey League playoffs with a 3-1 win Sunday.
Mitchell Heard, with a shot into an empty net, also scored for Plymouth, which won the best-of-seven series 4-2.
Cameron Brace provided the lone goal for the Attack, who couldn't rally after Mistele scored twice in the first period.
Alex Nedeljkovic made 32 saves in net for the Whalers, while at the other end of the ice Jordan Binnington stopped 28 shots.
