Minnesota Wild forward Dany Heatley had arthroscopic surgery on his left shoulder Tuesday.

According to the Minneapolis Star Tribune, the procedure was performed at the Cleveland Clinic. There is no timetable for Heatley's return, but according to the newspaper, Wild coach Mike Yeo said he hopes the surgery allows Heatley to come back prior to the end of the regular season.

Heatley was hurt during a scrum at the end of a game April 3 against the San Jose Sharks when he was pushed to the ice with the Sharks' Marc-Edouard Vlasic.

In 36 games this season, Heatley has 11 goals and 10 assists.

I've been getting frustrated lately, and the only thing keeping me sane was the team winning and other people stepping up and scoring. Then you just kind of let it go and realize you can end the series with one shot, that frustration goes away for a brief moment, and that's what happened.
