Baillie scores 3 as Kelowna rallies past Seattle to win series in 7 games

KELOWNA, B.C. - Tyson Baillie scored a hat trick as the Kelowna Rockets beat the Seattle Thunderbirds 3-2 in overtime Wednesday to advance to the next round of the Western Hockey League playoffs.

Baillie's goal 5:10 into OT helped the Rockets clinch the series in seven games to cap a massive comeback after Seattle won the first three games.

Evan Wardley and Luke Lockhart each scored for Seattle, with Lockhart's goal sending the game to OT with just seven seconds left in regulation.

Kelowna goaltender Jordon Cooke made 24 saves, while Brandon Glover stopped 32 shots for the Thunderbirds.

Kelowna opens the next round Saturday at home to the Kamloops Blazers.
