Sharks get Hannan from Predators for pick
The San Jose Sharks have acquired Scott Hannan from the Nashville Predators.

The San Jose Sharks have acquired Scott Hannan from the Nashville Predators in return for a conditional seventh-round pick in the 2013 NHL Draft.

If Hannan appears in a Stanley Cup Playoff game for the Sharks, the pick becomes a sixth-rounder.

Hannan has one assist in 29 games this season. He has more than 900 regular-season games and 82 playoff contests on his resume.

Hannan was drafted by the Sharks in 1997 and spent parts of eight seasons with the franchise. He has played for four other teams in the past three seasons after being traded from Colorado to Washington during the 2010-11 season. Hannan went on to sign one-year contracts with Calgary and Nashville, respectively.
