Jets claim Santorelli off waivers from Panthers
The Winnipeg Jets claimed forward Mike Santorelli off waivers from the Florida Panthers on Wednesday.

The Winnipeg Jets claimed forward Mike Santorelli off waivers from the Florida Panthers on Wednesday.

Santorelli had two goals and one assist in 24 games this season, his fifth in the National Hockey League.

Two seasons ago, Santorelli posted career highs of 20 goals and 41 points in 80 games for the Panthers.

A sixth-round pick of the Nashville Predators in the 2004 NHL Draft, the 27-year-old Santorelli has career totals of 33 goals and 58 points in 198 games with Nashville and Florida.
