Canucks sign Higgins to four-year extension
The Vancouver Canucks on Tuesday re-signed left wing Chris Higgins to a four-year contract extension.

The Vancouver Canucks on Tuesday re-signed left wing Chris Higgins to a four-year contract extension.

The deal is worth $10 million, according to TSN's Pierre LeBrun.

Higgins, 29, has nine goals and 14 points in 35 games with the Canucks this season.

Higgins has 132 goals and 253 points in in 517 career games over the span of nine NHL seasons with the Montreal Canadiens, New York Rangers, Calgary Flames, Florida Panthers and Canucks.
