Blues place T.J. Oshie on injured reserve, recall goalie Jake Allen

ST. LOUIS - The St. Louis Blues placed forward T.J. Oshie on injured reserve with a lower body injury and recalled rookie goalie Jake Allen under emergency conditions after one day at Peoria, Ill., of the AHL.

Allen replaces Jaroslav Halak, who injured his groin in a 4-1 victory at Minnesota on Monday night. Forward Adam Cracknell was recalled to replace Oshie, who was hurt in the first period Monday.

Oshie has seven goals and 13 assists in 30 games. The 22-year-old Allen is 8-3 with a 2.45 goals-against average and .906 save percentage with two shutouts.
