Belleville Bulls win to eliminate Mississauga Steelheads in Game 6

MISSISSAUGA, Ont. - Malcolm Subban made 31 saves as the Belleville Bulls beat the Mississauga Steelheads 3-1 on Monday to advance to the next round of the Ontario Hockey League playoffs.

Daniil Zharkov, Alan Quine and Carter Sandlak scored for Belleville, which won the first-round series 4-2.

Eric Diodati scored the lone goal for the Steelheads, while goalie Tyson Teichmann stopped 26 shots.

The Bulls went 0 for 2 on the power play while the Steelheads finished 1 for 4.

Belleville will begin its second-round series against the fifth-seeded Sudbury Wolves on Friday night.
