The Philadelphia Flyers have traded Harry Zolnierczyk to the Anaheim Ducks.
Zolnierczyk, 25, has one assist in seven games this season for the Flyers. He had three goals and three assists last season, playing in 37 games for the Flyers. Zolnierczyk will report to the Ducks American Hockey League affiliate in Norfolk, Va.
The Flyers received rugged forward Jay Rosehill in return. Rosehill, who was with Norfolk, played parts of three seasons with the Toronto Maple Leafs. The 27-year-old has two goals and three assists in 72 career games. He also has 198 penalty minutes. He will report directly to the Flyers.
I don't know what to say, to be honest with you. You get a couple [goals], and it's pretty much a done deal. He's been great. I don't know how many times I have said this before: He's giving us a chance and that's all you really want.
