Leivo has winner in Rangers 2-1 victory over Storm; Kitchener leads series 3-1

GUELPH, Ont. - Joshua Leivo's power-play goal near the midway point of the third period stood as the winner on Thursday as the Kitchener Rangers edged the Guelph Storm 2-1 in Ontario Hockey League playoff action.

The Rangers lead the best-of-seven series 3-1, with Game 5 in Kitchener, Ont., on Friday.

Radek Faksa scored in the first period for the Rangers and assisted on Leivo's winner. John Gibson made 40 saves for the win.

Zack Mitchell was the lone scorer for Guelph. Toronto Maple Leafs prospect Garret Sparks stopped 30 shots for the Storm.

Kitchener went 1 for 3 on the power play, while Guelph was 1 for 5 with the man advantage.
