Sproul scores in OT, Murray makes 36 saves as Grehounds blank Attack to even series 2-2

SAULT STE. MARIE, Ont. - Ryan Sproul scored at 19:12 of overtime as the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds blanked the visiting Owen Sound Attack 1-0 on Wednesday in Ontario Hockey League playoff action.

Sproul's first goal of the post-season goal, which came by way of power play, evened the first-round matchup at two games each.

Sault Ste Marie's Matt Murray stopped 36 shots for the shutout and the game's first star while Owen Sound's Jordan Binnington turned away 41-of-42 shots in a losing cause.

The Greyhounds went 1 for 4 on the power play while the Attack failed to score on four chances with the man advantage.

Game 5 is scheduled for Friday when Owen Sound hosts Sault Ste. Marie at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre.
