Nurse has winner in Greyhounds victory over Attack; Owen Sound leads series 2-1

SAULT STE. MARIE, Ont. - A third-period goal by defenceman Darnell Nurse gave the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds the 5-3 win over the Owen Sound Attack on Monday in Ontario Hockey League playoff action.

The Greyhounds now trail the Attack 2-1 in their best-of-seven series. Game 4 is on Wednesday in Sault Ste. Marie, Ont.

Nick Cousins had a pair of goals for the Greyhounds. Brandon Alderson and Michael Schumacher also scored, while Matt Murray stopped 22 shots for the win.

Gemel Smith scored twice for the Attack, while Kyle Hope added a goal of his own. Jordan Binnington stopped 30 shots.
