Burnside scores winner as Steelheads take Game 3 against the Bulls

MISSISSAUGA, Ont. - Josh Burnside scored the game-winning goal on a power play with 51 seconds left in regulation to lead the Mississauga Steelheads to a 2-1 victory over the visiting Belleville Bulls on Sunday afternoon in Ontario Hockey League playoff action.

Damian Bourne also scored for the Steelheads, who now trail in the Eastern Conference first-round series two games to one, while Dylan DeMelo assisted on both of his team's goals.

Tyler Graovac scored the lone goal for the top-seeded Bulls, who split the season series with eighth-seeded Mississauga at two games apiece.

Mississauga's Tyson Teichmann backed his team with 31 saves while Belleville's Malcolm Subban turned aside 23 shots.

The Steelheads finished 1 for 6 on the power play while the Bulls failed to score on three chances with the man advantage.

Game 4 is set for Tuesday when Mississauga hosts Belleville at the Hershey Centre.

Quote of the Day

I was going nuts and I saw [Subban], he was going crazy, and the ref had no idea where to go. [Subban] was skating to me, and I was skating to him and the ref was right in between us and I don't know, I kind of hit him pretty hard, I thought, but those were some emotions and I'm pretty sure he understands that.
