Mark Stone scores twice as Binghamton Senators defeat Hamilton Bulldogs 4-2

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - Mark Stone scored twice as the Binghamton Senators defeated the Hamilton Bulldogs 4-2 in American Hockey League play Saturday.

Stephane Da Costa and Wacey Hamilton also scored for Senators (39-19-6), who won their third straight.

Greg Pateryn and Frederic St-Denis replied for the Bulldogs (25-32-6).

After a scoreless first period, Hamilton put Binghamton ahead 1-0 at 6:19 in the second before St-Denis tied the game seven minutes later.

Stone and Pateryn each scored in the third before Da Costa's power-play goal at 14:31 put the Senators ahead for good.

Stone added his second of the night into an empty net to cap the scoring.

Nathan Lawson made 27 saves in net for Binghamton, while Dustin Tokarski stopped 20 shots for the Bulldogs.
