Rangers recall Kreider, assign Haley to AHL
The New York Rangers have recalled forward Chris Kreider from the Connecticut Whale of the American Hockey League and assigned forward Micheal Haley.

The New York Rangers have recalled forward Chris Kreider from the Connecticut Whale of the American Hockey League and assigned forward Micheal Haley.

Kreider was sizzling in Connecticut, scoring six goals in his past eight games. Overall, he has 11 goals and 19 points in 42 games for the Whale this season.

With the Rangers, the 21-year-old has one goal and one assist in 11 games this season.

Haley was scoreless in nine games with the Rangers, collecting 12 penalty minutes.
