Broadhurst scores winner as Knights edge Spirit in overtime

SAGINAW, Mich. - Alex Broadhurst scored 1:14 into overtime as the London Knights edged the host Saginaw Spirit 3-2 on Saturday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Chris Tierney and Bo Horvat also scored for the Knights (49-13-5), who have won nine of their last 11 contests, and Max Domi chipped in with two assists.

Jacob Ringuette had a goal and an assist for the Spirit (32-29-7) and Terry Trafford added a single goal.

Anthony Stolarz made 22 saves for the win as Jake Paterson stopped 30 shots in defeat.

London went 2 for 7 on the power play while Saginaw scored once on five chances with the man advantage.
