Brian Connelly scores two power play goals in Aeros 4-1 win over Heat

HOUSTON - Houston Aeros goalie Darcy Kuemper was 16 seconds away from his fifth shutout of the season, taking advantage of a couple of power play goals by defenceman Brian Connelly, in a 4-1 victory over the Abbotsford Heat in AHL play Thursday.

The Aeros were 2 for 5 on the power play, while Abbotsford was 0 for 7.

Quote of the Day

It's pretty crazy, but believe me when I say we didn't draft these players with the mindset we had to because they had good hockey-playing dads. It just turned out that way. But we're certainly glad they're a part of our organization.
