Boes makes 25 saves to lead Brandon Wheat Kings over Prince Albert Raiders 4-1

BRANDON, Man. - Corbin Boes made 25 saves Wednesday as the Brandon Wheat Kings defeated the Prince Albert Raiders 4-1 in the Western Hockey League.

Jason Swyripa, Richard Nejezchleb, Colton Waltz and Jens Meilleur scored for the Wheat Kings (23-39-8). Marek Kalus picked up two assists.

Jonas Knutsen replied for the Raiders as Prince Albert (35-28-) lost its sixth straight.

Luke Siemens made 30 saves in taking the loss.

Brandon finished the night 1-for-5 on the power play, while Prince Albert was scoreless on its three chances.
