Winnipeg Jets recall centre Patrice Cormier from AHL's IceCaps

WINNIPEG - The Winnipeg Jets have recalled centre Patrice Cormier from the St. John's IceCaps of the American Hockey League.

Cormier has played in 32 games with the IceCaps this season, recording seven goals, four assists and 60 penalty minutes.

The Moncton, N.B., native had two points in 30 career NHL games with the Atlanta/Winnipeg franchise.

He was originally drafted by the New Jersey Devils in the second round, 54th overall, in the 2008 NHL draft.

Quote of the Day

It's a date that's been circled on my calendar, so it's kind of nice to have it here and get it over with (Thursday). This is a little bit of the closing of the book on the move. That's kind of how I'm looking at it.
