Anaheim Ducks forward Corey Perry faces a hearing with the Department of Player Safety on Wednesday afternoon.
Perry was assessed a five-minute major for interference and a game misconduct at the 4:21 mark of the second period for a hit on Minnesota Wild forward Jason Zucker during a game Tuesday night at Excel Energy Center. Zucker was injured on the play and did not return to the game.
Potential illegal check to the head and/or interference infractions are the grounds for the hearing.
Anaheim won the game, 2-1.
