The New York Islanders announced Tuesday that forward Michael Grabner will be sidelined with a shoulder injury.

There is no immediate timetable for his return, but Grabner will be re-evaluated in seven to 10 days.

Grabner had been scoreless in each of his past two games after scoring a goal in three straight. He has 10 goals and 13 points in 26 games this season.

For me, it's a great win for our hockey team and for a lot of people back in Columbus, especially our fans in particular … people who have been devoted to this organization, it's big.
