Ducks send Sexton to Tampa Bay for Wilson
The Tampa Bay Lightning on Monday acquired forward Dan Sexton from the Anaheim Ducks in exchange for forward Kyle Wilson.

The Tampa Bay Lightning on Monday acquired forward Dan Sexton from the Anaheim Ducks in exchange for forward Kyle Wilson.

Sexton was an undrafted free agent signee by the Ducks in 2009. He had five goals and 16 points in 27 games for Anaheim's American Hockey League affiliate in Norfolk this season.

In July 2011, the Ducks re-signed Sexton to a two-year, two-way contract. In 88 career NHL games, all with Anaheim, he has 13 goals and 32 points.

Wilson, a 2004 ninth-round (No. 272) pick of the Minnesota Wild, has five goals in 22 games with Tampa Bay's American Hockey League affiliate in Syracuse this season. He has played 39 games in the NHL with the Washington Capitals and Columbus Blue Jackets, totaling four goals and nine assists.

He had four goals and 11 points in 32 games with the Blue Jackets in 2010-11.
